An Evening of Thai Cuisine

Date: Wednesday 7th February - 7pm to 9pm

Join us for an evening with Paya Thai Cooking who will be demonstrating  how to make a Thai green curry with chicken (including making the curry paste) and Thai coconut rice in our Food Tech Room.

Cost - £28 includes a complentary drink and your food to take home.

Make your own mother's day basket

Date: Thursday 1st March 2018 - 7pm onwards
Following on from the sucess of the Christmas Wreath making last Christmas, Rebecca Knight has kindly agreed to another floral demonstration, this time we will be making gift baskets in preparation for Mothering Sunday (to take home), she will also demo a few easy but stylish centre pieces.

Cost - £40 per person - you will need and apron and a pair of heavy duty scissors (everything else is inlcuded in the price)

Chocolate truffle making

Date: Thursday 15th March 2018 - 7pm -9.30pm

During this Chocolate workshop you will get to make a box of 18 truffles, dip various goodies and use transfer sheets - taking home a large bag of goodies

Cost - £25 per person

'marvellous marylebone' - A Guided Tour

Date: Sunday 15th April 2018 - 11am start
This two hour guided walk around Marylebone will take in Sherlock Holmes, The Beatles, Secret Parks, History of the Mews and much more.

Cost - £12 per person

Golf Day at Worplesdon Golf Club

Date: Monday 21st May 2018
We are pleased to invite you to join us at our Gordon's Golf Day which is being held at Worplesdon Golf Club on Monday 21st May.

Worplesdon Golf Club, near Woking and Guildford, Surrey, is a private members club featuring a well maintained heathland golf course which is recognised as being a great test of golfing skills with fair protection being provided from its heather, its bunkers and the defining woodlands.


Cost - £95 per person

 

 

PAST EVENTS

'Murders in Soho' - A Guided Tour

Date: Sunday 5th November 2017
The walk started at Piccadilly Circus and finished near to Tottenham Court Road. The tour had 12 stops and covered some 30 murders  including three serial killers.

An Evening of Indian Cuisine

Join us for an evening with Saf Ismail who will be giving an Indian Cooking demonstration in our Food Tech Room

 

Insect and Butterfly Walk on Horsell Common

Date: Sunday 16th July 2017

Lee Slatter and Geoff Eaton from the Surrey Branch of the Butterfly Conservation Society will be exploring the different butterflies and insect which can be found in our local area.

Private Tour of Royal Holloway, University of London

We have been lucky to secure a private guided tour of Royal Holloway College which was founded by two social pioneers.

Private Tour of Loseley Gardens

A wonderful evening at Loseley Park courtesy of Gordon Foundation Trustee and host, Micheal More-Molyneux. Autumn Walk and Fruit Tasting at RHS Garden Wisley

A group of Friends of Gordon's joined us for a beautiful autumn stroll through RHS Garden Wisley followed by a fruit tasting session led by Gardener and Gordonian, Bernard Boardman. It was a fantastic afternoon involving plenty of apple munching!

Photography Courses

January & February 2016

Our School Photographer, Ron Campbell, ran some fantastic Photography Workshops throughout January and February involving sessions in anything from getting to know your camera settings to improving  your photoshop abilities! Ron will be offering more workshops to Friends during the Summer Term 2016.
