The Mock Trials are a simulation of legal practice and argument in a real Crown Court. Students present prosecution and defence cases in front of a practising judge, and take on a wide variety of roles, from barrister to usher. Students (many of whom aspire towards a career in law) develop their confidence, articulation, self-motivation, resilience, and perceptive skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system. We enter teams at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
