Throughout the academic year students are able to access golf as a Period 7 activity.

During the Summer Term, Gordon’s School competes against local independent schools and also in local and county competitions.

Recent Successes

2018 Surrey Schools Champions

At the Surrey Schools Championships at Bletchingley GC. The Gordon’s girls team were crowned Champions of Surrey in the team competition. S Mardani finishing 2nd , E Kircher 5th and E Ingram 6th . Congratulations to the Girls who will go on to compete in the National Finals at Woodhall Spa next year in July 2019. The boys team finished 4th with C Denham finishing 5th in the boys competition. The  boys team were just beaten to a top three finish by Oxted, Whitgift and Lingfield College.

At the Surrey Schools Individual Championship, E Kircher finished top of the leader board with 35 points and F Deaney hit an impressive 33 points to finish in third place.

J Denham, C Denham and C Curtis have all played for the Surrey County teams this season. S Mardani has been selected for England training and represented England at the in augural Under 16’s British Open, finishing 12th position amongst the English girls.

Losing narrowly to Tonbridge School, the  team won against Marlborough College, Trinity College and Winchester College 3-0,  Sutton Valence and Reigate Grammar 2-1 and drawing with Cranleigh 1 ½ 1 ½.
