The Patron's Cup 2015
The Patron’s Cup is an annual competition between the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Reigate and Gordon’s. Pupils from Years 7 to 10 will compete in either netball or rugby on Saturday 3rd October.
The Patron’s Cup is an annual competition between the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Reigate and Gordon’s. Pupils from Years 7 to 10 will compete in either netball or rugby on Saturday 3rd October.
The results from each match are added together; be it a win, draw or loss, to give an overall school points total. The winning school is presented with the ‘Patron’s Cup’ to display proudly at their school for the rest of the academic year.
This year the following teams are playing away fixtures:
- U14A and U13A Rugby
- U13A and U12A Netball
whilst the following teams are playing at home:
- U15A and U12A Rugby
- U15A and U14A Netball
For those teams competing away on Saturday:
Rugby: meet at 07:45, depart at 08:00
Netball: meet at 08:45, depart at 09:00.
The away fixtures are held at Royal Alexandra & Albert School, Gatton Park, Reigate RH2 0TD.
For those playing rugby at home, the meet time is 09:15, for netball it is 09:45
ALL rugby matches will start at 10:00, whilst the netball starts at 10:20.
Spectators at Gordon’s are most welcome, with refreshments provided for parents in the Pavilion from 09:45.
A presentation of the Patron’s Cup will be made by Mr Moss to the winning school. This will occur outside of the Pavilion once all the results are known at approximately 11:15.
