This year the Technology Department worked with Jo Mitchell from Young Engineers. The students gained knowledge about renewable energy. The task involved students in an exciting and educational design and build challenge. Each team produced a wind turbine and tested this for electricity output. The competition was fierce on the day and many adaptions were made to perfect the design. Hopefully this has helped to inspire some of our students into considering engineering as a career.
