Cambridge prize

Oxbridge hopeful Hana Godfrey has been awarded the Peterhouse Kelvin Science Prize. The Y12 Student, currently studying four A-Levels – Maths; Biology; Chemistry and Physics – wrote her essay on ‘Why are some molecules so poisonous?’. Judges at the Cambridge college felt that her essay ‘…stood out for its clarity of argument, stylish prose, level of research and originality of thought’. Entrants for the award had to write their essay about a subject that had not previously or were not currently studying as part of their sixth form studies.  Hana will be presented with £75 at a special event at the end of the month at Peterhouse College.
