On the weekend of 13th & 14th May, both Gordon’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams competed in the BSKC Regional Final at Buckmore Park race track in Kent.

After Friday’s practise it was evident that it was going to be a stern test to get one team through, let alone both with the top 7 teams (out of 20) qualifying. 

On Saturday Ed Lee and Marcus Smith got Gordon’s off to a great start finishing 2nd and 4th in race 1. The trend continued with Pedro Gomez and Zak Fulk showing their skills winning a race each. With a real team effort Gordon’s least experienced drivers Pete Given and Sam Hudson finished in the top 7 of their respective races. After the light entertainment (Mr Sinclair coming near last in the teachers’ race) the results were announced. 

Both Gordon’s teams have made it through to the National Finals on the 2nd July after finishing 3rd and 5th on the day!
