A Level Results 2016

We are delighted to announce a set of excellent A Level results; including some which are record breaking.

A Level 2016

48.6% of entries were graded A* - A (only beaten in 2012)
81.0% of entries were graded A* - B  (school record)
93.9% of entries were graded A* - C  (school record)

These results rank Gordon's the top state school in Surrey.

Special congratulations to Ben Kenworthy and Camelia Hamdi-Cherif who each achieved A*A*A* and will be taking up places at Oxbridge.

GCSE Results 2016

A* - A = 46.0% (school record) (2015, 39.9%)
A* - B = 80.9% (school record) (2015, 73.1%)
A* - C = 96.1% (school record) (2015, 92.7%)

  • The percentage of students achieving five or more higher GCSE grades including Maths & English Language = 96.6% (school record)
  • The percentage of students achieving the English Baccalaureate = 68.1% (school record).The Baccalaureate is achieved where a student accrues higher GCSE grades in Maths, English Language, two sciences, a modern foreign language and a humanity.

These results rank Gordon's the 2nd highest-achieving comprehensive school in England. Daily Telegraph
