Library/Learning Resource Centre

Our Library is centrally located to provide resources that will help students with their learning.

  • We encourage reading with a range of books and magazines:
Non-Fiction to support the curriculum topics
Up-to-date and classic Fiction to suit all tastes
Opportunities are available to buy books through our Bookshop

Computers can be used for individual research or by a class. An interactive whiteboard also allows the room to be used as a teaching area.

At one end of the Library there is a Reprographics area for photocopying, laminating, binding and other resources.

Bookshop

Parents/carers are given the opportunity to set up an account for pupils to buy books from the school bookshop. Alternatively purchases can be made by cash or cheque.

Leaflets from specialist suppliers are available all year round, and there is a Scholastic Book Fair held every year for a week in November.

We held a Book Fair in November which made over £800, which brought in commission of over £500 to spend on new books for the Library.
